Community Service
Throughout High School, my involvement in various clubs and
extracurricular activities I have been privileged to give back to my
Community. Some Examples of my Community outreach are:
• Fundraising for the International Red Cross by selling doughnuts to morning shoppers at a local food store.
• Building perimeter fences for Manassas Battlefield with my local Boy Scout Troop.
• I have built websites for my Grandfather's Non-Profit Airplane Association
• Donating money and setting up a fundraiser to provide mosquito nets for families in Africa
• Donated money and campaigned against the genocide in Darfur
• Built Church bench pews for a local church and made a new walking path for churchgoers.
• I have collected cans of food and then sorted them at a distribution facility to give to homeless individuals
Taught Children about Robotics and helped them make a small VEX robot at the Pumpkin Pandemonium.
Showed kids how to drive the VEX robots through an obstacle course at the Pumpkin Pandemonium
Volunteered at pumpkin Pandemonium selling painted pumpkins to families.
Volunteered at the International Club Booth to try and raise awareness about global issues and cultures.
