Read to Elementary kids at Tyler during Baseball Season (2004-2007)
Starting my freshman year and up to my junior year the baseball coach would take the whole team, JV and Varsity the first Friday following cuts to help build community involvement and to brighten up the kids day by reading to them.
Helped rebuild Battlefield High School Website (2006)
My sophomore year in my CIW class, we as a class started to redesign the Battlefield High School Website. We were using it as a way to learn how to create websites and to hopefully update it better than before.
Helped build IT Website (2005-2006)
The end of my freshman year into sophmore year we as a class help design and make the Battlefield IT Wesbite. It was an introduction and foundation for getting a grasp on websites since we were taking CIW as sophomores and it was a class about learning about websites and how to build them.
Helped Pet adoptions at Petsmart on Saturdays (2004)
My freshman year I spent every Saturday at Petsmart helping with the Cat and Dog adoptions that happened on Saturdays. I was one of a few consistent people to continuely help with the adoptions.
Helped put SEAPerch kits together at SNAME (summer 2007)
This past summer as I was becoming a member of the Robotics team and helping build the summer bot, the opportunity of putting together Underwater Robotics kits arised, and I went to put them together. It was awesome putting the kits together, and seeing all the different parts that would be used to build an underwater robot.
Pumpkin Pandomium (2007)
As part of the Robotics team, I helped contribue to the fundraiser we had at Pumpkin Pandomium. The team picked pumpkins up early in the morning and started to paint halloween phrases, faces, and all other kinds of shapes and designs in hopes of selling them to fundraise money for the team to use for various items. We also sold drinks and setup a VEX display to show off the VEX robots that are used in the VEX divison that some students do as part of the Robotics team.
