Community Service

Operation Turkey: Every year, i actively participate in operation turkey. Operation Turkey is a program where you donate canned foods during Thanksgiving time for the less fortunate. In addition to operation turkey, i participate in donating food at local grocery stores. All of the donations go to a local shelter to supply food for the holidays.

Volunteer Tutoring: Last year, i helped a family friend's son with his academics. He was struggling in many core subjects such as reading and math. I volunteered to help him and to bring up his failing grades so that he could advance to high school. All the hard work payed off because he passed at the end of the year.

Salvation Army: Throughout the year, i do regular cleaning. As a result of my cleaning, i will often donate clothes to the salvation army. This happens multiple times a year. Furthermore, when i know of family members that go back to Vietnam, i often donate clothes so they can go to shelters in Vietnam and supply the children with clothes.
